How to Prepare a Useful Technology Enquiry
A useful enquiry explains what you have, what you need and what you have noticed. You do not need to diagnose the fault yourself.
For a laptop or desktop
Include the make and model if known, a brief description of the issue and when it started. Quote the exact error message where possible. Mention whether it happens repeatedly or only during a particular activity. Do not open equipment or attempt repairs just to complete an enquiry.
For CCTV or networking
Say whether you are discussing a new requirement or an existing system. For connectivity issues, mention which devices are affected and whether wired and wireless connections behave differently. For CCTV, describe the intended purpose without sharing sensitive property plans.
For a website, domain or hosting
Describe your business, the audience and the actions visitors should take. Mention whether you have an existing domain and website. List essential pages and features, and explain who will supply the written content and images.
Leave sensitive information out
Do not include passwords, payment information, private files or access codes. Back up important device data if it is safe to do so, and discuss equipment handover before travelling.
Confirm the next step
Ask about availability, scope and pricing. An initial enquiry is not a confirmed booking. Start your TECHNOTRIX enquiry or call +91 9224182455.
